We are looking for technology-centered presentations and project experience reports on current developments in Java and the Java/JVM ecosystem:
- Architecture & Security

When submitting a presentation, the speaker chooses the best category if several categories apply.
Presentation Length
The abstract should present the planned content of the presentation as precisely and concisely as possible. Therefore, no specific length is required.
The individual presentations, on the other hand, must not exceed 45 minutes – including discussion and space for questions.
Formats
All details regarding the presentation must be submitted as plain text via the designated online form. Presentation slides should be submitted as a PDF shortly before the event.
Licenses
The summary, description, and presentation slides will be published on our website. Therefore, we require that all submissions be licensed at least under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.0 Germany License (ccl, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.0/de/)
We assume this license for all submissions. Anyone wishing to place their work under a different license must indicate this when submitting their work.
Selection of Contributions
Our program committee will select the contributions on the basis of their content. We ask for your understanding that, depending on the number and quality of submissions, we may not be able to include all contributions in our program.
Compensation for Contributions
The Java Forum Stuttgart (JFS) is a non-commercial event organized by Java User Group Stuttgart e.V. We regret that we cannot provide any financial compensation for presentations.
Travel Expense Reimbursement
Since JFS is a non-commercial event, we are unable to cover travel expenses (either in full or in part) for speakers.
Number of Speakers per Presentation
JFS is a non-commercial event. Therefore, each presentation includes one free full-access attendee ticket for the speaker. Co-speakers must purchase a paid attendee ticket.
